9-Ball Scores is made and maintained by David James, a pool player in Clinton, Missouri. It is a personal project. It is not a league office, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any pool organization.
The way to reach him about this site is the Feedback link at the bottom of the scorer. The form asks three things: what you were trying to do, what went wrong or what you want changed, and an optional name or email if you want a reply. Leave the contact line blank if you do not want one.
Say which phone and browser you were on if the problem is a bug. “The 9-ball prompt offered Break & Run after my opponent had already shot” is enough to reproduce. A novel is not. Messages go through Formspree to the same person who writes the app. He reads them. A reply, if you asked for one, comes when he is back at a keyboard, not from a support desk.
What to send where
- A wrong score, a broken button, or an idea for the scorer: Feedback on the home page.
- Delete a Google scorebook or a sync-code scorebook completely: say so in that same form, and include the account email or the code. Unlinking a phone does not delete the shared copy. See the Privacy Policy.
- A rules argument at your league: that is for your captain or the league, not for this site. The guides describe how the app keeps a sheet. They do not issue rulings.
What this site is
The useful part of the site is the scorekeeper, plus the written notes around it: how the points race works, the 20-point split, marking a match on the phone, and common questions. Advertising on the site, when Google is serving it, is one unit under the scorer header. There is no paid placement in the guides.
